There were some sections that made my eyes glaze over but I just like the warmth and heart (if you ignore the pun) of this book.

It's a little too idyllic in places, but the riverbank followed by a pint of best bitter will leave you that way. When they are chatting to each other it is great but the parts where Paul talks about his favourite fish weren't for me.

I don't like fishing but this is a lovely listen to two good friends who happen to be funny, warm and entertaining, even when the technical fishing instructions appear (not lot of them).
