About this deal

This design philosophy is at the heart of the CT-S1 and it’s what sets it apart from other keyboards.

It does however have 61 really useable sounds as well as the potentiial for Bluetooth audio and MIDI connection. Casio understands that technology plays a large part in education, and learning to play the piano is no exception!h2>

If you love creating music with vintage Electric Pianos, Synths and iconic sounds from pop music history, there’s lots to like in the CT-S1. The CT-S1 includes a selection of FREE music downloads with backing tracks, all designed by leading music educators to help build your skills. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. To give you and your family the best start, we’ve teamed up with Rockschool, a leading music exams board for rock and pop music.

I was always baffled as to why a small JBL FLIP with like 16 watts sounds so tinny in comparison to larger speakers with lower watt spec. strong>, the CT-S1 can be powered from 6 AA batteries, which is perfect for making music on the move. With 61-touch sensitive textured keys, a quality AiX sound source, brilliant performance, and a suite of free online lessons included, the CT-S1 is a beginners dream. Then, you can alter the effect of these voices with 24 types of reverb to change the acoustics of your piano voices. But thankfully, the headphone jack sounds great, with no perceptible noise at comfortable listening volumes. Bundled together with a selection of free online lessons (with unlimited access to Casio's revolutionary Music Academy).

p>With 61 full-size, touch sensitive textured keys, you’ll be enjoying your style of music anytime, anywhere. I'm good enough to make any keyboard sound good, requires adjustment of playing from a "piano" weighted action. Gave it 4 1/2 stars because some keys do require a bit more pressure than the others, so it needs improvement in that aspect. As a professional pianist, I’ve played and tested everything from a Bösendorfer Imperial concert grand piano to budget-friendly beginner keyboards. data-background-images="{}" data-video-fallback-src="" data-element="inner" data-pb-style="YE5XTSS">

Interactive Online Learning Included.Other than that there's an additional patch of vintage Casiotone Violin + drum machine rhythms split (each left hand key held gives you a different rhythm type) but that's hardly the drum kits you think of, and this setup is only with the "violin" patch on the right hand. What surprised me more was how good the other sounds are, especially the electric pianos and synths. Design features like the speaker cloth and the felt in the keys set it apart and give it a sophisticated appearance.
