About this deal

We all have our own personal Eden in our hearts, that special dream, that place in life, where we hope someday our journey will take us. They have had a roster of band remembers over the years including the now Professor Brian Cox – keyboards (1986–1992). Road To Eden” comes right after the respectable “Out Of The Silence 2” and I’d say that the biggest difference this time around, compared not only to its predecessor but with the three previous efforts, is that the new album rocks harder without losing the trademark Celtic and atmospheric (almost moody) references.

Three decades on, I'm happy that so many bands impacted by such a volatile moment in time kept at it anyway and are still putting out strong material today. This edition featured alternate cover art, a rearranged track list, remixed sound, and the addition of a previously unreleased bonus track, "Cold Wind Will Blow". To my mind, things pick back up with The Devil Rides Tonight, which fits so well with those first four tracks, even with a quiet opening, that I couldn't help but wonder why it wasn't shifted up to play alongside them. Most notable has been the well-earned rise of guitarist Chris Buck, named in 2019 as ‘Best New Guitarist in the World’, who has forged a reputation as one of the most inventive and recognisable guitar players in music; winning plaudits from peers and the industry’s most iconic players alike. Wharton has since commented on the emergence of this sound, stating, "I think that was mainly a part of my Thin Lizzy roots. John said, “Nora loved the album, she wouldn’t have wanted us to postpone it or change any of our plans.

That they fell apart without realising that potential was a big disappointment to fans, myself included, but Darren Wharton resumed the band, albeit pursuing a mellower sound influenced by traditional celtic music. Way back in the day I sadly missed out on Dare, taken by the bright lights of the Sunset Strip in the late eighties if it was all a bit too melodic then so I kind of side stepped it.

This appears to be their eighth studio album of original material, with two others reworking earlier releases.

On 30 November 2018, Dare announced initial European tour details for 2019, which by 6 January 2019 had expanded to 22 dates in Belgium, Germany, Holland, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. This new discographic offering is therefore eagerly awaited, especially since the single 'Born In The Storm' is responsible for making us salivate. Up first is the latest single Sweet Carolina, a pop-rock, drum-laden, (good job he brought Finn along) blues riff banger! I won't go through all the tracks but suffice it to say that the numerous references to sea, sky, mountains, thunder and wind are all referenced in most of the songs as we have come to expect but wow!A kind of revamped “Blood On Blood” by Bon Jovi, but its difficult to shake the thoughts of Phil Lynott here. Getting the fire burning on Come On, this sultry blues number showcases Redferns prowess on his trusty Resonator guitar. On 25 August 2021, on Dare's official Facebook page, a Christmas headline show at Holmfirth Picturedrome (4 December) was announced.
